I especially love to bake. I suppose you could say that baking is my
hobby (it might be nicer to take up needlepoint or kickboxing, something
with fewer calories). After a day when everything goes wrong, it's very
soothing to come home and do something which works (and is rapidly
consumed with signs of enjoyment).

slow-cooker). It's one of the few appliances I would replace immediately
if it broke. It cooks all day while I'm at work, and dinner is ready when
I am.
