Winter's Best Ginger Snaps 2 cups turbinado sugar 3/4 margarine 3/4 cup oil 2 eggs 1/2 cup light molasses 4 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp baking soda 2 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp cloves 2-4 tsp ginger 3/4 cups turbinado sugar Cream sugar and shortenings. Mix in eggs and molasses. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Dough is very soft-an hour in the refrigerator makes it easier to handle. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and roll each ball in sugar. Place on greased baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake in 375 preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes.
